1. Who we are
This policy describes how MoringaSuppliersIndia.com (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the public website hosted on GitHub Pages. We are a small editorial project, not a large data platform. We still want you to understand what can be observed when you browse.
2. What we collect
2.1 Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (or a comparable successor) to understand aggregate traffic—pages viewed, approximate geography, device category, and referral sources. Analytics identifiers may be stored in cookies or similar storage as described in our Cookie Policy.
2.2 Hosting and server logs
GitHub Pages and related infrastructure may log technical data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. We do not operate those servers directly; their providers process logs under their own policies.
2.3 Information you send us
If you email moringasuppliersindia@gmail.com, we receive whatever you choose to send (name, address snippets, business details, attachments). Do not send sensitive health information unless you accept that risk voluntarily.
3. How we use information
We use analytics and logs to fix broken links, prioritize content updates, and understand which guides help readers. We use contact messages to respond when appropriate. We do not sell your personal data as a standalone product, and we do not run a newsletter list on this policy’s effective date.
4. Legal bases (for readers in the EEA/UK)
If regional law requires a “legal basis,” our processing of analytics is based on legitimate interests in measuring and improving a free public site, balanced against your rights (including browser controls). Processing of emails you send is based on your request to communicate. You may object to certain analytics processing via cookie settings or opt-out tools offered by Google.
5. Retention
Server logs and analytics are retained according to Google’s and GitHub’s schedules, which we do not fully control. Email may be retained in an inbox until deleted as part of normal mailbox hygiene.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to run the site (e.g., hosting, analytics) or when required by law. Amazon and other merchants you visit handle checkout data under their own privacy policies.
7. Security
No internet transmission is fully secure. We rely on reputable hosting and transport encryption where provided by the platform. You should use updated browsers and avoid transmitting secrets through unsecured channels.
8. Children
The site is aimed at adults researching trade and retail. We do not knowingly solicit data from children under 16. If you believe a minor sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it where feasible.
9. International visitors
Readers may access the site globally. Data may be processed in the United States, India, the European Economic Area, or other regions where our vendors operate. By using the site, you acknowledge that cross-border transfers may occur as part of normal internet routing and vendor infrastructure.
10. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Email moringasuppliersindia@gmail.com for access, correction, or deletion requests relating to correspondence we hold. Analytics rights may need to be exercised partly through your browser and Google’s tools.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when practices change. The “Effective” date at the top will move when we publish a revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy for site visitors where permitted by law.
12. Aggregated statistics
We may describe traffic in aggregate (“this comparison page is popular”) without naming individuals. Aggregates are derived from analytics vendors and do not intentionally re-identify users.
13. Breach notification
Because we hold minimal direct databases, a “data breach” in the classic enterprise sense is unlikely for our project alone. If we learn that an integrated vendor reports a breach affecting our readers materially, we will post a notice on this site and describe sensible mitigation steps where we can do so responsibly.
14. California and other US state privacy rights
Some US states grant residents rights to know, delete, or opt out of certain sales or sharing. We do not sell personal information in the CCPA “sale” sense as of this writing. You may still email us with requests; we will respond within reasonable limits and may need information to verify identity.
